Tackling Complexity and Offering Hope: Making Sense of Borderline Personality Disorder

Dr Mason is leading the session on Tackling Complexity and Offering Hope: Making Sense of Borderline Personality Disorder at Horizon Leeds on Tuesday 24th January 2017. This session will enable practitioners to gain a broad understanding of borderline personality disorder and, through this, deliver better care and services to individuals who are often excluded by virtue of their presentation and diagnosis. 

Dr Mason becomes one of the first to be awarded a senior fellowship at the recent FMLM annual conference

The Faculty of Medical Leadership and Management (FMLM) published the Leadership and Management Standards for Medical Professionals in 2015 (2nd edition, 2016). Following this, the organisation now offers the opportunity for members to apply for senior fellowship (SFFMLM) or fellowship (FFMLM) through a process of certification by portfolio.

On 17th and 18th November this year, Dr Mason is one of the speakers at The Anatomy of Physician Leadership workshop taking place at the University of Zurich, Switzerland. Research evidence indicates that engaging doctors in the leadership and management of healthcare organisations improves patient care and organisational performance.
